Here it goes!

My first ever personal style post!

I spent 9 glorious days in Cannes at the end of August.I couldn’t think of a more beautiful place to take some personal style pictures.

I stayed in the old quarter of Cannes, called Le Suquet. It is by far my favourite part of Cannes, with it’s winding cobbled streets and gorgeous clock tower and historic church over looking the bay.

The streets were laid over 400 years ago and this area was originally the fisherman’s residential area.

While preparing my holiday wardrobe, I tried to chose pieces that were light and easy to wear while being stylish at the same time.I chose accessories that I could work with many different looks.

I am a huge fan of animal print.I think it can look very classy if you chose the right print and team it with the right accessories.I particularly loved this 3/4 sleeve playsuit from as it ticked alot of boxes for me.The print is not too in your face, has a great sleeve length and has pockets too!It was light and easy to wear and would work easily with tights when the weather turns a little cooler.

For those who aren’t brave enough to work the all over animal print, try incorporating some accessories into your look.

I kept the accessories to a minimum choosing a chunky gold chain, bug bracelet and clutch bag from Primark/Penneys. Bug accessories are a huge trend for A/W ’13 as seen on the catwalks of McQueen and Lanvin. For those of us who don’t have a designer budget, keep an eye on the high street for more affordable pieces. This bracelet was a steal at only ¬£1!

I got this lovely Chanel inspired iPhone cover from the lovely people at Addject and Kikkerland Designs.Check them out on Twitter.

My sunglasses are vintage YSL that I picked up in New York at a vintage fair a few years ago.I absolutely love them!

I love these strappy sandals from Office. They worked perfectly into my holiday wardrobe and were super comfortable. An absolute must for any holiday.
