I will be blogging about all things fashion, my personal likes, what’s relevant for the coming season, how to dress for your body type and some personal style posts too.If you have any fashion questions,please do get in touch.
For those of you who don’t know me,I am a fashion stylist from the beautiful West of Ireland.I have over 5 years experience in the industry.I am now based mainly in London but return home to Ireland regularly for work.
I started my career over 5 years ago when I got a fantastic opportunity to assist well known London based fashion stylist Marcella Martinelli on a high end jewellery shoot in London for Image magazine.
From the moment I stepped onto the set on that beautiful July day in 2008,I knew that fashion was the career for me!!I have always had an interest in fashion from an early age thanks to my wonderful Mother,who was and still is, a fashionista!
Don’t get me wrong,it wasn’t all oysters and champagne!It was hard work but I absolutely loved it!You have to be prepared to work hard in the industry to make the cut.
In the months that followed my first taste of the fashion industry, my passion for fashion spurred me on to work really hard to build up my experience.I also studied for a Diploma in Image and Fashion Styling.
I assisted some well known stylist’s in Ireland on editorial shoots and TV fashion features.I returned to London many times to work on LFW for a few seasons running with fashion houses such as Bora Aksu, Ashley Isham and PPQ and to assist on shoots for Woman & Home magazine, The Observer magazine and on fittings for celebrity clients.
Since going freelance in late 2008, my talent and eye for detail has seen my styling work published nationally in Ireland in titles such as The Irish Times Weekend magazine, RSVP, Woman’s Way, Irish Wedding Diary to name a few.I have worked with celebrities such as Daniel O’Donnell and TV presenter Lisa Cannon.
Since moving to London my I have worked on editorials, fashion promos and my work has been published on Vogue.IT.
