VaheyVintage Shoot

For those of you that are not aware, I am fanatical  (some might say obsessed!) about everything and anything Vintage!

People often mistake vintage as being second-hand.Yes, it often is second-hand, but the difference between the two, is that vintage clothes originate  from another era ie from the 1920’s to 1980’s.

I have come across some beautiful vintage pieces still in it’s original packing and/or with it’s original tags attached. This is known as dead stock.

Out of my love (or obsession!) for vintage grew my online vintage store called VaheyVintage which specialises in vintage occassion and bridal wear.

One of the reasons I love vintage is the quality, cut and style, in particular the 1950’s era.Another reason is that you will never bump into someone else wearing exactly the same thing at an event!

I wanted to share a few of my personal favourites that I have picked up along the way while sourcing pieces for VaheyVintage.

I got the opportunity to do a shoot with the lovely people at Citi Studio London.

Citi Studio are based very close to Spitafields Market and they are experts in Model Portfolios, Family Portraits and Boudoir Make-up and Photo shoots to name a few of the fantastic services on offer.

Upon my arrival,I had a consultation with the Hair & Make-up artist to discuss the looks I wanted to achieve to complement my styling choices.

Once I was beautified,I went on to discuss  the looks I wanted to achieve with the photographer.I am used to being the other side of the lens so it took me a while to get into it but I think the final result looks ok!

VaheyVintage is available to buy, rent  (for events and Film/TV)  and for fashion photo shoots.Check out www.vaheyvintage.com and you can email me for more information at info@vaheyvintage.com

Check out Citi Studio at www.citistudio.co.uk for more information on what they have to offer.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope you like what you see! I look forward to hearing from you.
